Today on 5th of September 2021, in order to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr S. Radha Krishanan 2nd President of India, the NSS and NCC units of GDC Khour celebrated Teacher’s day. The celebrations began with traditional lightning of the lamp followed by paying tributes to Dr Radha Krishnan by the Principal Prof. Hans Raj and Staff of the college. Prof. Gurvinder Kour threw light on the life history of Dr. S. Radha Krishnan and his noteworthy contributions to the nation. On this occasion an Intra-college symposium on the theme “The Changing Role of Teachers and Technologies amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic” was organized in which ten students of the college participated. Bharti Devi of Sem. 4th, Vishali Devi of Sem. 6th and Shiwani Bhagat of Sem. 6th secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively and awarded with momentos. Dr. Seema Sudan, Prof. Dalip Kumar and Dr. Suraj Parkash were the jury members. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College described the changing role of teachers during Covid-19 pandemic and advised them to work with sincerity and honesty in this challenging time. He wished to the students for their prosperous future. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Arun Sharma, ANO.
