NSS Volunteers of GDC Khour organised a Plantation drive at Govt. Middle School Matto and Govt. Primary School, Upper Matto. This programme was part of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations. NSS volunteers along with the students of the respective schools participated in this drive. Over Various species of fruits & medicinal plants were sown. Senior NSS volunteers Rahil Choudhary & Jatin Kumar Sharma informed the students about the importance of growing plants and keeping our environment green. They also encouraged the students to adopt these plants and water them regularly. The aim of this drive was to inculcate awareness among the youth about environment conservation through tree plantation. The programme was organised by NSS Programme Officer Gurvinder Kour under the able guidance of Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) T K Sharma.
