Govt Degree College Khour organised guest lecture on eve of World Wildlife Day on 3rd March 2021. The theme of the day for this year was “Forest and Livelihoods : Sustaining People and Planetâ€. The invited resource person on this occasion was biodiversity expert Sh. Om Parkash Sharma popularly known as Vidyarathi (Retd. IFS) who delivered lecture on the biodiversity and rare and endangered taxa of state. Resource person also talked in detail about PBR and BMC. The expert stressed upon preservation of local flora and fauna. The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Prof. Hans Raj, in his inaugural speech he laid stress upon values of forest and conservation of wildlife. Students of Sem 1st & 3rd participated in the event. Among the staff members Prof Tarsem Lal, Dr. Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Prof. Arun Sharma & Dr. Deepti Gupta were present on the occasion. The program finally concluded with vote of thanx by HOD Environmental Sciences Prof. Dalip Dutta.
