Today on 4^th April 2022, the NCC cadets of GDC Khour organized an awareness drive under the aegis of Puneet Sagar Abhiyan to save water bodies. The event was organised as part of the week long programme to celebrate ‘National Maritime Week. The programme commenced with addressing of Prof. Tarsem Lal to the cadets about the significance of water bodies as the lifeline of our ecosystem. In this programme the cadets visited village Khour and its market area wherein they interacted with the inhabitants of the area and the shopkeepers. They aware the local population about the importance of saving water. About 20 NCC Cadets participated in this drive. The drive was conducted under the supervision of ANO Prof. Arun Sharma under the guidance of worthy Principal of the College, Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma.
