Department of Sports & Physical Education, GDC Khour celebrates “National Sports Day 2022” on 29^th of August 2022 in the College campus by organizing a Kabaddi match between College Kabaddi team and kabaddi team of Krishna Sports Club Khour. The match was inaugurated by the Principal Prof. (Dr.) T.K. Sharma who was also the chief guest of the occasion. Mr. Romesh Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officer Khour was the Guest of Honour. An intense competition was witnessed by the spectators between both the teams and finally the Krishna Sports Club team outplayed the College team with the final scores 43-36. The match was officiated by Mr. Anubhav Dev and Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Physical Education Teachers of Zone Khour. The trophies were awarded to winner as well as runner-up team. Among others present in the event were Dr. Seema Sudan, Prof. Tarsem Lal, Dr. Kuldeep Raj Sharma and other teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college. Earlier the two minutes silence was observed to pay tribute to ex-student & national kabaddi player of the locality, Late Mr. Shubham Dogra who recently demised unfortunately. The whole event was organized by Prof. Goutam Sharma and Prof. Suresh Kumar of Department of Sports & Physical Education.
