Dr.(Capt.) ANJANA SHARMA, Associate Professor in Computer Applications, Department of Computer Science has joined the HED in 2006. Joined GDC Khour on 7th Nov 2023. Worked as Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Coordinator of the College, a project by MoE, IIT Delhi and also Nodal Coordinator of Virtual Lab, Jammu Division , an initiative by IIT Bombay to provide a complete Learning Management System around the Virtual Labs where the students can avail the various tools for learning, including additional web-resources, video-lectures, animated demonstrations and self-evaluation. Conducted more than 50 out house and in house VLAB workshops in the nodal college well as other colleges too. The total usages of VLAB by the students as well as the faculties for the workshops are more than 9000 since 2021. Convenor of CPIS database, technical verification committee and member of other committees like online admission/NCC verification and counselling since 2020, beautification, sports, IT Purchase, cultural, magazine etc., and other departmental committees constituted from time to time. Worked as commissioned Captain in NCC, senior most Female Associate NCC Officer(ANO) in whole Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Directorate, since 2007. Received plaque of Honor for standing first in order in All India Pre Commission for Lieutenant rank in OTA Gwalior in 2010 in NCC. Got appreciation awards from ADG NCC and Group Commander JK&L Directorate for actively participating in so many NCC activities and attending Republic Day camp in 2021 during the pandemic. I have attended three RDCs at Delhi (1994 as Best Cadet and Rajpath from J&K DTE, 2012 and 2021 as ANO from JK&L DTE), the most prestigious national camp of one month duration at Garrison Parade ground at Delhi Cantt. Working in GDC Khour as Convenor of Discipline, college development, Internal assessment committee and member of other committees
